TBPN Bingo Cards: Play Along With Every Episode

You already watch the Technology Brothers Podcast Network daily from 11 AM to 2 PM PT. You already react in the live chat. You already have opinions about every hot take John Coogan and Jordi Hays deliver. But have you ever played TBPN Bingo?

It is exactly what it sounds like: a bingo card filled with recurring show moments, catchphrases, and tropes. When one happens during the live broadcast, you mark it off. First to fill a line wins. It turns passive listening into an interactive game, and it has become one of the most popular community activities in the TBPN universe.

How It Works

Each TBPN Bingo card is a 5x5 grid with 25 squares. The center square is a free space (traditionally labeled "Technical Difficulties" because, let us be honest, it is a daily livestream). The remaining 24 squares contain show moments that listeners will recognize instantly.

Some are common enough to appear almost every episode. Others are rare events that might not happen for weeks. The mix of common and rare squares is what makes the game work — you will fill most of your card quickly, but that last square might keep you on the edge of your seat.

Sample Bingo Card Squares

Here are some examples of the types of moments that appear on TBPN Bingo cards:

Common Squares (Appear 3-5 times per week)

  • John says "let me push back on that"
  • Jordi references a specific data point from memory
  • A guest gets interrupted by breaking news
  • The live chat goes wild over a hot take
  • Someone mentions a previous prediction that came true
  • A comparison to a historical tech event

Uncommon Squares (Appear 1-2 times per week)

  • John and Jordi completely agree on a controversial topic
  • A caller challenges the hosts and makes a good point
  • Merch is mentioned organically (not a planned plug)
  • A guest shares a story that visibly surprises the hosts
  • The show runs over the scheduled end time because a topic is too good

Rare Squares (Appear monthly or less)

  • John admits he was wrong about a previous take
  • Jordi gets so excited about a topic that he stands up
  • A guest says something that leaves both hosts speechless
  • A prediction made on the show is confirmed in real-time during the same episode
  • The live chat collectively agrees on something (this almost never happens)

How to Play

Playing TBPN Bingo is simple:

  • Step 1: Get a bingo card (see below for how to get yours)
  • Step 2: Tune into the daily livestream at 11 AM PT on YouTube or X
  • Step 3: Mark off squares as moments happen during the broadcast
  • Step 4: When you complete a line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal), post it on social media with the hashtag
  • Step 5: The community validates your bingo and celebrates your achievement

For extra fun, play with friends. Everyone gets a different card layout, so the race to bingo creates friendly competition.

Get Your Bingo Cards

We offer bingo cards in two formats:

Digital Download (Free)

Print at home on standard paper. These are perfect for casual players and first-timers who want to try the game before committing to the premium version.

Printed Premium Cards

Available in the TBPN stationery collection, the premium printed bingo cards are made on heavy cardstock with a dry-erase coating. Use them with a dry-erase marker and they are reusable episode after episode. They look great on your desk, they feel premium in your hands, and they last as long as you keep listening.

The premium cards make excellent gifts for fellow listeners and are a must-have for TBPN watch parties.

Advanced Play: The Full Card Challenge

Getting a single line is fun. But the real challenge is filling the entire card in a single episode. This requires a particularly eventful broadcast — the kind of episode where news is breaking, takes are flying, and the hosts are at peak energy.

Full card completions are rare. We estimate that a standard TBPN Bingo card can be fully completed in roughly one out of every fifteen to twenty episodes. When it happens, it is an event. The community celebrates, screenshots are shared, and the accomplishment is remembered.

Create Your Own Custom Card

The community has taken bingo card creation into their own hands. Fans design custom cards with squares tailored to specific show segments, guests, or topics. Some popular custom variations include:

  • AI Episode Bingo: Squares focused entirely on AI-related moments and terminology
  • Guest Interview Bingo: Squares based on common guest behaviors and host questions
  • Market Day Bingo: Squares tied to financial news coverage and market reactions

Creating custom cards adds a layer of creativity that extends the game beyond the standard format. Share your custom designs on social media — the best ones get featured on the show.

The Social Element

TBPN Bingo is at its best when played socially. The game transforms the solo listening experience into a shared activity. Ways to make it social:

  • Watch party bingo: Everyone at the party gets a different card. First bingo wins a prize — maybe a TBPN sticker pack or first pick from the snack table.
  • Remote bingo: Play with friends over Discord or text. Share your card state in real time and race to the finish.
  • Live chat bingo: Some viewers post their bingo progress in the YouTube and X live chat during the show. It adds an extra layer of community to an already social experience.

Pair It With a Beverage

No game is complete without a drink. Grab a TBPN mug or tumbler, fill it with your beverage of choice, and settle in for three hours of bingo-enhanced listening. The premium bingo cards and TBPN drinkware look great together on a desk — proof that you take your podcast fandom seriously.

Get your bingo cards from the TBPN store and bring a new dimension to your daily listening ritual. The next episode starts at 11 AM PT. Your card is waiting.
